Pictured are Sandra Melvin, the "Bexhill in Bloom" organiser and competition judges, Ben from the Leisure Centre and Tony Smith from the Brownbread Horse Rescue Centre.
The competition was open to children in three categories, under 7's, 7-11's and over 11's. The competition required that they should paint a paper plate to include a fruit or vegetable that could be eaten and perhaps something to do with the clock tower on the seafront which is 100 years old this year.
Prize winners from each category will be announced later at a prize giving. Brownbread is always pleased to get involved with children's activities and Tony was invited to judge because of his association with art being both an exhibition organiser and a speaker on art and fraud in art.
